Expanded board to strengthen Utiligize’s position with utilities facing massive demand for new and expanded grid connections across the Danish and European electricity networks.

Software company Utiligize is expanding its Board of Directors from five to six members and appointing Knud Pedersen as Chairman of the Board effective May 1, 2026. At the same time, Henrik Mørck Mogensen joins the board as a new external board member. The expansion is intended to strengthen the company’s strategic position within the energy sector, particularly among distribution system operators (DSOs), which are core customers for Utiligize’s solutions for electricity grid planning and development.

Knud Pedersen has extensive firsthand knowledge of the realities faced by DSOs and has previously served as Chairman of the Board for Radius and Cerius – two of Denmark’s largest distribution system operators. As Chairman of Utiligize, he will provide strategic guidance to the founding team, with a particular focus on strengthening the company’s contribution to faster and smarter grid expansion. Knud Pedersen will also advise on the legislative and regulatory frameworks within which DSOs operate.

Henrik Mørck Mogensen also joins the board as a new external board member and will advise Utiligize on the company’s commercial expansion strategy across the Nordic region. Henrik brings strong industry insight from his time at Kamstrup, where he worked with Danish and international utility companies, and has spent many years leading companies that develop digital solutions – most recently as CEO of RTX A/S.

The expanded Board of Directors takes effect on May 1, 2026.
