NEW CHAIRPERSON OF THE BOARD: With its digital products and services, Utiligize supports a faster and more efficient green transition in both Denmark and abroad. To further strengthen this effort, Utiligize is now introducing Jette Miller as the new Chairperson of the Board.

Utiligize is growing and has a positive outlook on the company’s development—both in the Danish market and internationally. Regarding these expectations, CEO Kalle Thorbjørn Scharff Hansen of Utiligize states:

“We are experiencing positive growth, and the demand for our products is increasing. Under the leadership of Thomas Marschall, CEO of Denmark’s largest business angel network (DanBAN), we have successfully raised capital for growth over several years, expanding from two to now 16 employees. We have also significantly expanded our customer base in Denmark and secured Europe’s largest electricity grid company, Enel, as a client.

For the next phase of the company’s development, Utiligize’s owners have been exploring new avenues for growth and seeking to bring additional expertise into the company—including at the board level.”

New chairperson of the board

From day one, Utiligize has focused on hiring highly skilled and specialized employees. With the positive expectations for further growth and an increasing customer base, Utiligize has also sought to enhance the expertise within its boardroom. CEO Kalle explains:

“Utiligize has been searching for a new chairperson who complements the competencies we already have and aligns with our company’s growth agenda,” says Kalle Thorbjørn Scharff Hansen, elaborating further:

“In this context, it has been crucial for us to find a chairperson who not only has a deep understanding of regulations but also possesses concrete experience in managing a growing commercial enterprise. With Jette on board, we are further strengthening our already extensive knowledge and expertise in the electricity market—not just in Denmark but also in our international markets. We look forward to the collaboration.”

Currently, Jette Miller serves as managing director of the waste and heating company Norfors. She has held leadership and board positions in various companies within the energy and utility sector for nearly 15 years.

A proven strong product attracts

With a solid background in the utility sector, Jette Miller officially assumed the role of Chairperson of the Board at Utiligize on February 1, 2025. Regarding her expectations for the role, she states:

“Utiligize offers a solution that is solid, innovative, and creates real value for customers. That is why I accepted the board position. The company has a proven strong product, and the owners run the business based on values and ambitions that I share,” says Jette Miller, adding:

The leadership transition at the board level does not mean that Utiligize is ending its collaboration with Thomas Marschall. On Utiligize’s growth journey, Thomas will continue to be a valuable advisor and co-owner.
