We have moved! A new home for Utiligize in central Copenhagen

On 1 March we took over a new office – bigger, brighter and more modern, and still right in the heart of Copenhagen. Our growing team has settled into a space designed for the people we are today and the colleagues we are still to welcome.
Room to grow
Utiligize has grown steadily over the past years, both in headcount and in the scope of what we do for our customers. With more colleagues joining the team and more DSOs across Europe relying on our platform, our previous office had simply become too small. The new space gives us the room we need today and the flexibility to keep growing.
Our new office is bigger, brighter and more modern, with workspace and meeting facilities built around the way our teams collaborate – across product, engineering, power systems and commercial. We are still in central Copenhagen, which keeps the commute easy for the team and makes it just as straightforward for customers and partners to drop by when they are in town. Kongens Have is around the corner, which is good news for our lunch walks.
Moving an office is rarely glamorous, and ours was no exception. Boxes were packed, desks were carried and a fair amount of flat-pack furniture was assembled by the team itself. It turned into an unexpectedly good team-building exercise – the kind that does not appear on any agenda but probably teaches you more about your colleagues than a formal workshop ever would. Growing a company means getting better and better at handling a bit of chaos along the way, and moving day was a good reminder of that.
With the boxes unpacked and the coffee machine running, we are looking forward to welcoming customers and partners into our new home. The new office is more than just more square metres: it is a setup that supports how we want to work over the coming years – close to our customers, close to each other, and shipping products greater than ever.
